Just wondering what drivers other people use? Pretty early on I got sound problems such as occasional static sound, static sound when playing yt video and a game at the same time and such. I don't want to install two and then screw something up or be running redundant drivers together. I upgraded to Windows 10 three years ago and haven't had any sound problems until now. The gpu audio drivers are generally used for connecting to an external device from your pc. Not sure this is worth it, or will reduce resources.
The advice is not to go to windows for it, but to go to the motherboard manufacturer, because it would be specialised for the system rather than a generic driver, which might not be as good, or even cause problems. This seems like it is something that should be easy to fix, especially by uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. Of course the quality of the sound will change depending on the quality of the speakers. I am stuck and would really appreciate any help.
In the original post it was stated sound does come from the speakers. The Realtek drivers are for the motherboard's onboard audio. The Realtek drivers would provide the best results. I'm considering to also attach my audio receivers to the monitor audio output but I'm not sure if it would be useful, better for audio, will have downside, etc. I'm running my computer with absolutely nothing overclocked or over-volted.
How likely is that the cause and what can I do? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated! If you delete them windows will just install them again. I can just install the old drivers, but I always like to have the latest driver if possible. I've done what you have through your monitor on a few systems. Cable quality would also be an important factor. It will receive the same information as any other device, and will convert it the same way as any digital device.
